Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Ladle for serving
  • Glasses or serving bowls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups  watermelon scooped into balls or diced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup  strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup  Korean pear or regular pear thinly sliced
  • 1 can (355 ml) Sprite or any lemon-lime soda
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar optional, to taste
  • 2-3 cups  chilled water or milk  for a creamy variation
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the Fruit:
Wash all fruits thoroughly. Use a melon baller to scoop the watermelon or dice it into small cubes. Slice the strawberries and pears thinly, and cut the pineapple into bite-sized chunks.
Bowls of chopped pineapple, watermelon, and strawberries surrounded by whole pears, pineapple, and strawberries
  • Mix the Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chilled water or milk with the soda. Stir gently to avoid losing carbonation. If you prefer a sweeter punch, mix in honey or sugar until dissolved.
