6oz (1 cup)semi-sweet chocolate chipsor your preferred type of chocolate, such as dark or white
1tspcoconut oil or vegetable oiloptional, for smoother chocolate coating
Instructions
Prepare Your Workspace:Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.Melt the Chocolate:Use a double boiler: Place a heatproof bowl over a saucepan with simmering water. Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) to the bowl, stirring occasionally until melted and smooth.Alternatively, use a microwave: Heat the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring in between until fully melted.
Coat the Coffee Beans:Add the coffee beans to the melted chocolate. Stir gently to coat all the beans evenly.Using a fork or small tongs, lift out a few beans at a time, letting excess chocolate drip off, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.Chill and Set:Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm and set.
Separate the Beans:Once the chocolate is set, break apart any clusters of beans that may have stuck together.Serve or Store:Enjoy immediately, or store the chocolate-covered coffee beans in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Cooking Tips:
Choose Your Chocolate: Experiment with different chocolates, like milk chocolate for a sweeter treat or dark chocolate for a rich, intense flavor.
Flavor Variations: Add a pinch of sea salt, cinnamon, or chili powder to the melted chocolate for extra flavor.
Keep It Smooth: Adding a small amount of oil to the chocolate prevents it from hardening too quickly and gives a glossy finish.
